(Give us the basics of your characters life and why they have the abilities they have. Try to leave no loose ends. We're expecting a paragraph or two. I'm happy for you to leave things vague and flesh them out IC, but the history still needs to make sense. This is actually the most important element in receiving your starting PL rating, so be careful.)


(Any skill involved with combat or any other domestic skill such as carpentry. Any skill listed must be accounted for in history. May only have a few prominent skills [Don't go crazy]. Include Fighting styles known, here. Can be edited as Character grows In Game and earns new skills. For more on skills and DB related skills, go here.)


(Start with 2, Can learn extra techniques either as prizes for completing arcs, or learned and developed in training threads. Be careful though, you can only have up to 12, and once you learn one you can't unlearn it. The abilities can be your own ideas but they must make sense in the DB universe. You can also learn canon abilities, but you must actually learn the technique from a person who knows it in either your history, or In the Game. I.E, if you want to learn the kamehameha wave you'd have to ask another player and learn from them. You may pick a canon technique when applying if it's learning can be accounted for in your history through a credible learning source. Some abilities may become unlearnable, i.e if the NPC/player with the technique dies. Any technique can be taught to another player once known. The stipulation to learning a new ability is having the minimum of 2 thousand words written describing it's progress in a training thread. You will also receive PL gains for this. (You may start with 4. These thechniques are optional. These attacks are like the Wolf Fang Fist technique, or some of the special techniques on street fighter like the yoga noogie, or shoryruken etc. There is no limit on how many physical techniques can be learnt. The minimum writing for their accomplishment is 1000 words, These can be spread out over a few separate training posts to improve PL rating if training/learning alone[goes for all training]. Remember not to take the piss though, I don't want to see 23 posts with just a few sentences in each one. Treat them like small chapters or breaks in writing.
