-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Table of Contents (Also a summary of the steps)
1.1: Register (Also explains the difference between OOC accounts and IC accounts)
1.2: Read all rules and guides (links included. (PN: May add a reader's guide if I have the time))
1.3: Read over the character application
1.4: Fill out the character application
1.5: Submit the character application
1.6: Create an account for your character
1.7 What's next?
1.1 Register
Congratulations! You've decided to take the first step on your journey to Dragon Ball greatness! In this step, you will be registering your Out-of-Character (OOC) account. Keep in mind that the name of your OOC account MUST be different than the name you will use for your In-Character (IC) account. (Don't make your IC account yet. Keep reading) Your OOC account is what you will use to interact with the OOC elements of the board. (Kame House, for example) Conversely, your IC account is what you will use to interact with the IC elements of the board. (The game world itself)
1.2 Read all rules and guides
All guides can be found here;
dragonballichi.proboards.com/board/3/rules-guides-application-form
So, you've created your OOC account. What next? Well, before you get into making your character, we have a couple of things to go over. First and foremost, you need to read all of the rules and guides in the link I gave you above. I know it can appear very daunting, but you don't need to go over everything at once. In fact, I don't recommend it. Take in the reading in tiny chunks. (You'll avoid choking that way) Once you have read the guides and the rules, make sure you understand them. If anything is unclear to you, please contact a staff member. When you have no more questions, move on to the next step.
1.3 Read over the character application
The application can be found here;
dragonballichi.proboards.com/thread/6/character-application-form
Finally, before you begin the process of creating your character, you need to read and make sure you understand the application. As you create your character, remember that this board is based on the Dragon Ball series, therefore your character must make sense in that world.
1.4 Fill out the character application
As you're filling out your application, be as specific as possible, especially when it comes to your techniques. If you are not specific enough, your application may be rejected. Also, as it is mentioned in the application, take special care with your history and rp sample. These will be most instrumental in determining your starting Power Level (PL), which will affect your ability to do combat.
1.5 Submit the character application
Once completed, you are now ready to submit your character! Once submitted, you will need to obtain TWO stamps of approval in order for it to be accepted. Once accepted, you will receive your starting PL. This will not be any higher than 200.
1.6 Create an account for your character
Once your character is accepted, you will need to make an IC account for your character. To do so, log out of your account. Then, register and use the same email as your OOC account. Follow the same process you did to create your OOC account, then voila! Your character is created. To switch accounts, log out of the account you are currently logged in on. Then, log in with your OOC account information. You will then be in a menu where you can select accounts. Just select the account you want.
1.7 What's next?
You may feel very lost from here. You've created your character and everything, now how do you get involved? First, I recommend going here and posting your face claim. Your face claim is simply the identity of the person whose image you are using for your character's appearance. Once you've finished that, head here and see what plot developments are going on and determine where it would be best for your character to pop in. Well, that's it. You're now ready to start your adventure. Remember that even the mightiest of heroes need a little help sometimes, so if you're stuck on anything or if you just need something clarified, don't be afraid to message The Womb or Theorist if you need any assistance.
Good luck!
