Yin is a reserved character, normally only speaking when necessary. He is prone to thinking rather than speaking. Is generally a solitary character. Yin can often be described as being profound, however despite his intelligence he is also quite mad. Years of being alone has caused Yin to become increasingly self involved, when coupled with his obsessions to become a more powerful fighter often gives off the impression of either derangement or insanity. Is a sadomasochist in nature and glorifies fighting above all other things. Yin has the tendencies to be kind or gentle at times, though a rare sight. Is also a keen believer in principle and believes in honor and truth.

Born in Dengfeng City in the Henan region of China, Yin was an orphan boy left on the steps of the Dengfeng Shaolin temple. Yin was found and raised as an experiment by the late master Shi Su Xi. Kept away from most other children, he was raised to become the perfect martial arts practitioner. The master taught every philosophy and every technique he had to the boy, urging him to use his creative nature to evolve the techniques further. During his younger years Yin did not question his "father" or his life and simply accepted his reality as it was. However in his teenage years this changed.
By the age of fourteen Yin was a master student, surpassing many others of the time. His father and master entering him into many local tournaments and bouts with Yin being victorious in all. However, Yin's exposure to the outside world caused him to begin questioning his fathers motives and actions, as well as his solitary life and education. Over the next few years Yin and his master argued often and their relationship soured as Yin began to learn more of the outside world and what wonders it could hold. Unbeknownst to either Yin or his father, Yin's latent powers had begun to awaken during this period. His powers took the form of performance enhancing abilities, limited only by his mind and his body. His powers seemed to improve with the more training and theory Yin practiced. Soon Yin was performing superhuman feats that many attributed to his mastering of inward Chi abilities.
By the age of nineteen Yin had become the most revered and feared martial artist in the region. Even Emperor Chiaotzu began to recognize his name and would often attend his bouts. Yin even trained with the Emperor on occasion, learning the Don-Don Ray technique from him. Many knew of Yin's strength and speed and none could match it. He had surpassed every other martial artist before him. He used this power freely and recklessly, often challenging people in the street and going through extreme, often suicidal training methods. One day during this period, Yin and his master had a particularly ugly argument, in which Shi revealed to him his plans for Yin as well as Yin's past. However Yin was not pleased with his father, despising him for withholding this information and using him for his own agenda. Feeling as though much of his life had been robbed from him Yin finally decided to rob Shi of his, and murdered him in their home/dojo outside of Dengfeng City.
After what Yin calls his "liberation", he went on to conquer Dengfeng City, holding a tournament against all the masters in the City. Bout after bout masters fell, none could touch Yin or his skill. The people feared his deceleration of rule and urged the local militia to take him on. However, even with guns and artillery the militia feared Yin's power and the myth that surrounded it and decided to succumb rather than fight, joining Yin and enforcing his rule. Fortunately, Yin's rule was fair and the people prospered. Orphan homes in the area received special care, and were treated with great reverence during his time there. Much of his government was filled with enlightened thinkers he hand picked himself, many of them criminals, orphans, drug addicts or philosophers. Though having these traits much of his government body were good people, Yin did not allow for any kind of corruption or mistreatment of the people and worked tirelessly to create a haven in the region. Yin's rise to governor of Dengfeng was not democratic, but was favored by the Emperor and was publicly made official when the effects of Yin's rule came to light.
However, at the age of twenty three Yin became the figurehead of public scrutiny when it became public knowledge that he had killed his master. The people became fearful of Yin and his ever increasing power and held a mass demonstration to have him leave the area and subsequently leave his governing position. Angered at what he saw as the traitorous nature of his people Yin ordered his students and police to disperse the crowds. However this resulted in mass hysteria and more demonstrations. Public opinion of him then changed to viewing him as more of a dictator rather than cultural savior. The public retaliated by attacking orphan sanctuaries and destroying various "Yin" shrines in the city. After a year of troubles and unrest, Yin chose to leave the area and relinquish his power, saying that "The only way I can serve my people now, is to listen to what they say."
Feeling outcast by society, Yin went into a self imposed solitude. He began wandering the country and honing his abilities to the point of perfection. During this time he began to resent his people for forsaking him. He vowed to return there one day, but not as Yin had been, but as the ruler of the entire world and make Dengfeng City the capitol city of the globe. He vowed to take on all the strongest fighters the world had to offer him. Not only this, but he also vowed to find the ultimate power, knowing that using his mind and body together he could unlock an infinite strength that no fighting force in existence could defeat.
Now at the age of 26, Yin's travels have brought him to the World Martial Arts Tournament in search of other warriors that could potentially match his skill. Also, wishing to meet with them and see what kind of people they really were.

Kensaku-ko:(Searching Light Technique, Self Made) This technique is used by tracking an opponents Ki signature. Then expelling Ki energy magnetized to that signature. It is a fast technique and can be fired with either palm. It appears as a fuzzing fuchsia ball, about the size of a basketball. On impact creates a burning heat that can burn through many materials. When fired as an all out attack can conjure brilliant temperatures and travel at a much faster rate.

Hebi-Ken (Snake Fist, SM): Incorporating the snake style into the attack, Yin's arms become as malleable as a snake's body and just as fast in their strike. The attack is a flurry of fast jabs [4-6] that bend and weave through standard blocking methods. Using extended fingers, the strikes can leave a stinging sensation after contact and can cause small cutting wounds.
Hyo-no-toppu (Leopard flurry, SM): Incorporating the leopard style into the attack, Yin's arms become short and strong for in-fighting. The technique is generally used as a counter on the inside of a swinging/lunging attack, though it can also be used as an out and out attack if in close enough quarters. The strikes are a series of precise, short palm strikes and elbows [2-5] to the upper body, followed by either a distancing chest push or clawing hand strike. Can sometimes cause claw/scratch marks on enemy.
Shirīzukikkufukku (Hook kick series): Series [2-4] of fast hook kicks from either the left or right legs.

Yin had been meditating under the tree for six days. Focusing his inner Chi, he found he could sustain his body so that he did not need food or drink in order to survive. However after six days he was becoming weary, and the effort of being motionless was sapping at his spirit. He knew that with concentration and practice he could use this ability to survive for longer periods of time in the wilderness. Yet at his current state the concentration it took to focus his Chi rendered him motionless, thus making the ability useless in it's current form.
After some time Yin opened his eyes and with a sigh took to his feet and stood. He found himself in the dead of night, a still but chilled evening. He took in a breath of the air and noticed how crisp it felt on his lungs. Even the air could be manipulated and changed by Chi, it could also be called on and used to help aid the use of his Chi. Fuel it. However it could not give him true sustenance, something Yin desired greatly.
I must eat or I shall perish soon. He noted how depleted his energy stores were and realized how fatigued he was from sustaining himself. He looked about him but hunting in such a dark atmosphere would be difficult, especially when he couldn't use his Chi to heighten his awareness and perceptions. Luckily, he had prepared for this moment by packing himself some preserved dried meats and some tinned fruits. After eating the meats and resting some, Yin mustered up some of his Chi energy and broke into the tins of fruit with his bare hands. After his feast and rest, Yin decided to sleep and begin his journey again in daylight. He suspected that no one would find him in such a remote location, and seeing as no one had come for him in the past six days, he was safe.
Before settling down Yin thought back to his master and father. He sighed to himself, their relationship had gone sour in a way no relationship should. A regret Yin could never live down. What did you do to me father? Do you even know what it was that you were doing? You created a monster. Giles began to weep as he lay on the cold ground. Or, was it always me?
